As far as the sound goes, I guess beauty is in the ear of the beholder. The white spacer mod advice was for obviously unmodified bikes. I add the caution to prevent someone from running an overlean condition which will prematurely blue the pipe and muffler. Which it did on my first attempt at running with a HD slash cut. It blued the chrome on the slash cut in a mile and backfired something awful.
